Well known for its cosmopolitan flavour and laid back lifestyle, Marbella has been named in a recent survey – reported in Hello Magazine - as the top celebrity destination of 2013. When asked to rank ten holiday locations in order of preference, over one third of respondents voted for Marbella, with Ibiza coming in second place.
Synonymous with glamour since the 1950s, Marbella consistently attracts discerning travellers looking for a glamorous getaway with international amenities and excellent service. This year is no exception; famous faces such as supermodels Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer have been spotted soaking up the sunshine and champagne at some of the coast’s smartest beach clubs. More recently, celebrity gossip magazines have introduced a new generation of visitors to the delights of Marbella’s exclusive nightlife, beaches and boutiques.
LHDCarSupermarket who conducted the poll commented, “People choose their holiday destination based on what they’ve seen and heard. Marbella is constantly in the media and is regularly visited by celebrities, so it’s no surprise that a lot of holiday makers want to follow suit."
