This month saw the doors open for the 7th season of the Campeones Junior football club in Estepona. With the aim of ‘Bringing out the Champion in each child’ Siesta Homes was proud to see how the school is continuing to flourish. This season marks the start of the fourth season for Siesta Homes as sponsor of Campeones Junior, providing equipment, marketing assistance and financial support.
The club helps over 100 children between the ages of 5-16 to be part of a team sport. They train each Saturday and the club has a strong team of volunteers who help the children develop their football skills as well as their ability to work in a team.
It was particularly impressive to see how this season, many of the children who joined the club six years ago are volunteering as trainers. This is testament to the dedication of the club to ensure each child feels part of something special.
